Viviane Dang studied Environmental Engineering at the Technical University of Munich and at the Peking University. She specialized in Traffic Engineering and Sustainable Transportation. Her master’s thesis focused on traffic algorithms and communication between automated vehicles in urban areas. She also gained international work experience in an engineering company in Santiago, Chile. After her studies, she worked for an internationally active engineering company in Munich.

Viviane Dang was a scholarship holder of the DAAD and the Chinese Ministry of Education. She speaks German, English and Chinese. Viviane Dang joined BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT in April 2022.

Suraj Singh Attri has been active in the field of intellectual property, specifically patents, since 2011 and has extensive experience with invention mining, patentability & freedom-to-operate searches, drafting patent applications, and prosecution. During his professional career, Suraj has attended various courses and programs to attain a deeper understating of the field. He holds a master’s degree (LL.M.) in intellectual property & competition law from Munich Intellectual Property and Law Center, Munich, and a bachelor’s degree (B. Tech) in electronics & communication from Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering, New Delhi. During his masters, he wrote a thesis on “Infringement of ICT-related patents in Europe and the US.” Before moving to Germany, he worked for a reputed law firm and a multi-national IT company in India. Suraj Singh Attri joined BOHMERT & BOEHMERT in 2022.

Sabine Zips studied Physics at the Technical University of Munich with a specialization in Biophysics. During her doctorate in the Neuroelectronics group at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of TUM, she worked on the development of printed Organ-on-a-Chip devices and, in particular, on additive manufacturing of 3D electrode structures for measuring cell signals from Brain Organoids.

She authored several scientific publications in international journals and received a doctoral scholarship from the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom with funds from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.

Matthias Kreuz studied electric engineering and computer sciences with a focus on communications technology and signal processing at Munich’s University of Applied Science (HM) and the Technical University of Munich (TUM). During the Bachelor program, he gained practical experience in the development and production of near-field communication transponders in a medium-sized company. During his Master’s degree, he worked at BMW M GmbH in the field of drive development, focusing on aspects of emissions control of combustion engines. In the course of his thesis, he developed a model-based functional environment for the real-time implementation of software-supported motor acoustics.

Since October 2018, Matthias Kreuz has been working at BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT.

He is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR).

Théodore Ley studied electrical engineering at the French Grande École d’Ingénieur INSA-Lyon and specialized in microelectronics. After graduating in 2000, he came to Germany and worked successfully as a development engineer for well-known European semiconductor manufacturers.
He has been working in the field of intellectual property since 2010. After a first experience as a patent examiner at the European Patent Office, he returned to industry and was involved in the exploitation of the patent portfolio of a former semiconductor group. In doing so, he prepared numerous valuable patent infringement proofs, also based on standard essential patents. After successfully selling the patent portfolio, he joined a UK patent and law firm in 2015, where he obtained his admission as a professional representative before the European Patent Office in 2018. He joined the BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT team in August 2020.

Michael Rübsamen studied electrical engineering and information technology at RWTH Aachen University, specializing on information and communication technology. He was funded by the German National Academic Foundation and spent ten months at Bell Labs, Crawford Hill, USA, where he investigated signal processing algorithms for fiber optic communication systems. He received his PhD from Technical University Darmstadt for contributions in the field of signal processing algorithms for multi-antenna communication systems.Following his doctorate, Michael Rübsamen worked for four years as a wireless systems engineer at Intel Mobile Communications. His main focus was on improving the signal processing algorithms of 3G/HSDPA receivers.Before joining BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT in 2020, Michael Rübsamen worked for a renowned IP law firm in Munich for four years.

Daniel Niesner graduated with a diploma and a doctoral degree in physics from the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität of Erlangen-Nürnberg. He investigated graphene and semiconductor surfaces in ultra-high vacuum with electron and laser spectroscopy, in particular using nonlinear optics and short-pulse lasers.During a two-year stay at Columbia University, New York City, he extended his research to organic and organic-inorganic semiconductors for photovoltaics. Before joining BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT in 2020, Daniel Niesner led two research projects on these topics and taught at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nuernberg on optical properties of semiconductors.Daniel Niesner is a member of the German Physical Society.
