    Angel Santarossa studied physics in Argentina. He then earned his Ph.D. in material sciences at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU). His research focused on soft robotics based on granular jamming, as well as the use of X-ray computed tomography to investigate the underlying physical processes.

    He subsequently continued his work as a postdoctoral researcher at FAU, where he conducted research on the fracture mechanics of soft materials and the mechanical properties of shape-memory polymers.

    Angel Santarossa has been with BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT since January 2026.
