The current edition of “Who’s Who Legal: Trademarks 2017” counts the BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT lawyers Dr. Volker Schmitz-Fohrmann and Dr. Florian Schwab among the most important lawyers for trademark law in Germany.
This year, a total of 45 renowned lawyers were selected for Germany, “who can truly be considered leaders in the field”, as WWL stated. The “Who’s Who Legal: Trademarks 2017” identified internationally leading trademark law experts (in total: 1441) in 81 countries. The online version can be accessed here and includes around 17,000 specialists from 37 fields of law across the globe.

This is the finding of the “Focus Special Top Lawyers / Corporate Law Firms in Germany” (Oct/Nov: 2017) in which BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT remained among the top law firms in Germany in Patent Law, Media Law and Brand Law. This annual listing names leading lawyers and law firms in a total of 26 specialist legal fields. The list, compiled by the news magazine, respectively the statistics company Statista, is based on colleague and client recommendations, for which over 9,000 lawyers in corporate law firms and around 3,300 people in companies were surveyed. At Mannheim Patent Days 2017, on 12 October, Professor Dr. Heinz Goddar will give a dinner speech on “Inventor Quality, Inventor Honour and Inventor Compensation in the Era of the Internet of Things”. Further topics, which the event will provide updates on, range from “Implementation of the Community Patent and UPC” to “New German Patent Case Law” and “Industry Patent Department 2025 and Industry 4.0”.
