Kanzleimonitor 2017/2018: Excellent reviews for BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT in intellectual property and patent law

A study in the Kanzleimonitor 2017/2018 has given BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT first-rate reviews in both intellectual property and patent law.

Within intellectual property law, BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT received 20 recommendations and thus achieved second place, the same as Hogan Lovells, and directly after CMS Hasche Sigle. No other “boutique” law firms made it to the top five spots; only large business advisory offices.
Lawyer Dr. Rudolf Böckenholt is one of the most mentioned lawyers in the field of intellectual property law.
Within patent law, BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT once again made it to first place, which it shared with Taylor Wessing on the basis of recommendations received.
The empirical study “kanzleimonitor.de – recommendation is the best reference”, from the Federal Association of In-house Lawyers (BUJ), based on recommendations from in-house counsels, is now in its fifth consecutive year. Exceptional rating in “The Legal 500 – Germany 2018″.

In the newly published edition of “The Legal 500 Germany” (2018, BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT is listed in three areas as “Top Tier Firm”: “Trade Mark & Competition Law”, “Patent Law: Registrations and Administrative Proceedings”, and in “Media: Copyright Disputes”. The firm is also recommended in the fields of “Patent law: Dispute Resolution” and “Media: Entertainment”. Very good ratings for BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT in the new JUVE Manual 2017/18.

The firm also managed to retain its very good rankings from previous years in the current edition of the JUVE Manual of Corporate Law Firms 2017/18. In total, 16 patent attorneys and lawyers were listed specially this year.

In the “Patent Law – Patent Registrations” category, the firm takes pole position. In “Patent Processes – Patent Lawyers”, the firm is placed in the second category of the named law firms. In “Patent Processes / Lawyers”, it ranks in 4th position this year too. JUVE states here: “In Patent Law, B&B is one of the leading law firms. The current edition of “Who’s Who Legal: Trademarks 2017” counts two BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT lawyers amongst others Dr. Volker Schmitz-Fohrmann and Dr. Florian Schwab among the most important lawyers for trademark law in Germany. This year, a total of 45 renowned lawyers were selected for Germany, “who can truly be considered leaders in the field”, as WWL stated.

The “Who’s Who Legal: Trademarks 2017” identified internationally leading trademark law experts (in total: 1441) in 81 countries. The online version can be accessed here and includes around 17,000 specialists from 37 fields of law across the globe.

 

“Focus Special Lawyers List 2017”: BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT remains among the top law firms in Germany in several categories

This is the finding of the “Focus Special Top Lawyers / Corporate Law Firms in Germany” (Oct/Nov: 2017) in which BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT remained among the top law firms in Germany in Patent Law, Media Law and Brand Law. This annual listing names leading lawyers and law firms in a total of 26 specialist legal fields. The list, compiled by the news magazine, respectively the statistics company Statista, is based on colleague and client recommendations, for which over 9,000 lawyers in corporate law firms and around 3,300 people in companies were surveyed. This year, BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT represented with a total of eleven lawyers and three offices. At the Munich office, the following lawyers are named: Christian W.
