After studying physics at the University of Leipzig, Giulio Schober completed a two-year research stay at the University of Tokyo. He then continued his scientific work at the University of Heidelberg, where he received his doctorate in 2016.
During this time, he developed numerical simulation methods for the investigation of optical and electromagnetic material properties and applied them to semiconductors with spin-orbit coupling.
He further gained technical experience as a postdoctoral fellow at RWTH Aachen University.
Giulio Schober has been working in the Munich office of BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT since 2018.
He was a scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), and the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).
