Dr. Daniel Herrmann speaks at the “WIPO Summer School” at Charles University Prague on the topic of “The patenting of computer-implemented inventions in context of emerging technologies”

The Center for Knowledge and Technology Transfer of the Charles University Prague is organizing again this year a “Summer School” under the international auspices of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and in cooperation with the Industrial Property Office of the Czech Republic. Questions concerning IP issues as well as innovations in the Central European and international context will be the focus of the event.

Participants can learn about the protection of intellectual property for emerging technologies, green energy, aerospace, or even current pharmaceutical know-how in lectures and case studies from September 06 to 17, 2021.

BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT patent attorney and partner Dr. Daniel Herrmann has been invited to participate with a lecture. He will speak on the topic “The patenting of computer-implemented inventions in the context of emerging technologies” on September 06, 2021 from 11:35 to 12:25.

The Center for Knowledge and Technology Transfer of Charles University Prague was established in 2007 and provides services to all 17 faculties and other departments of the university.
