Who owns data? – Prof. Dr. Czychowski at DIHK, Berlin

1. February 2018/in

The use of data as a fundamental pillar of Industry 4.0 has led to considerable uncertainty about how companies are permitted to use data, especially non-personal data, in practice.

On February 1, 2018, the DIHK will be running a workshop entitled “Data economy – Who owns data?” The key question of the legal status of data generation and utilisation will be explored through talks and panel discussions. Lawyer Prof. Dr. Christian Czychowski will participate in the discussion together with Dr. Ingrid Schneider of the University of Hamburg, Andreas Hartl from the BMWi and others.
