UNION IP appoints patent attorney Nils T.F. Schmid as Honorary President

During the Executive Commission Meeting at the Congress in Catania (Sicily) in October 2017, patent attorney Nils T.F. Schmid was appointed Honorary President by delegates of UNION IP.

Together with patent attorney Philippe Overath, he was also elected to lead the Statute Commission as Vice President.

UNION IP of European Practitioners in Intellectual Properties is an independent non-profit organisation of experts focused on intellectual property. It was founded in 1961 under the name “UNION of European Patent Attorneys”. It is active throughout Europe and offers IP experts a professional forum.
