Michael Rübsamen focuses on drafting and prosecution of patent applications as well as on advising and representing clients in opposition and nullity proceedings. He is primarily active in the fields of information and communication technology.

Michael Rübsamen studied electrical engineering and information technology at RWTH Aachen University, specializing on information and communication technology. He was funded by the German National Academic Foundation and spent ten months at Bell Labs, Crawford Hill, USA, where he investigated signal processing algorithms for fiber optic communication systems. He received his PhD from Technical University Darmstadt for contributions in the field of signal processing algorithms for multi-antenna communication systems.Following his doctorate, Michael Rübsamen worked for four years as a wireless systems engineer at Intel Mobile Communications. His main focus was on improving the signal processing algorithms of 3G/HSDPA receivers.Before joining BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT in 2020, Michael Rübsamen worked for a renowned IP law firm in Munich for four years.
