Matthias Philipp studied mechanical engineering at the University of Hannover and the Université de Montpellier in France. He obtained his PhD in the field of analysis and numerical simulation of flow processes with combustion after working for several years as an assistant professor at the Institute of Combustion Technology of the University of Karlsruhe.He has worked as an expert in patent law at BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT since 1992.
