Fritz Jetzek focuses on the area of computer-implemented inventions. His main areas of interest include image analysis – and, more generally, artificial intelligence – and all aspects of the protection of software and hardware. The focus of his work is on patent prosecution.

Fritz Jetzek studied informatics (computer science) at the Technical University of Berlin and the University of Hamburg. His thesis was made in collaboration with a Hamburg-based company in the biotechnology sector and concerned automatic analysis of digital microscope cell images. The results of this work led to a patent granted in the USA. After several years in Hamburg, Fritz worked as a fellow of the Marie Curie Research Training Network (MCRTN) of the European Union in Greece. Since returning from Greece in 2008, he has been with BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT. In 2011, he received his admission as a German patent attorney.
