“Software and property rights” seminar – with Prof. Dr. Ch. Czychowski and Dr. Th. Bittner.

1. December 2017/in Events

The German Lawyers’ Academy will be holding a seminar on “Software and property rights (patent- and copyright law)” on 01 December 2017 in Frankfurt am Main. Software patents are an integral part of everyday business. Computer-implemented inventions are found in almost all contemporary products used in our technology-oriented world of work. What’s more, software is one of few products to be protected by both patent law and copyright law. Prof. Dr. Christian Czychowski and Dr. Thomas Bittner will be holding a joint seminar covering this area and explaining legal prerequisites for protection, current developments in legal practice, the influence of open-source licensing models, and contractual issues. It is aimed at patent lawyers, general attorneys, as well as employees from industrial corporations and SMEs.
