“Legal Infringements on the Internet: Provider Liability” – Further training with Prof J. B. Nordemann.
On 14 October 2017, Humboldt University Berlin will hold a further training session on “Legal Infringement on the Internet: Provider Liability” to be given by Prof. Dr. Jan Bernd Nordemann. He will explain both the general rules of liability under German and European law as well as individual liability scenarios for internet providers, e.g. host providers (YouTube, ebay, Sharehoster), link providers, search engines, domain providers, access providers, WiFi providers and payment providers.
Nordemann is a Specialist Lawyer for Copyright and Media Law as well as for Industrial Property Rights and has made comprehensive contributions to the law of liability for providers in both German and international publications and has far-reaching practical experience in this field. The event is a further training session within the scope of § 15 Specialist Lawyer Ordinance. It will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Unter den Linden 9, Room 213, 10099 Berlin.
