Intellectual Property Day: Panel with Prof Jan B. Nordemann on “3D Printing – Challenge for Brand and Design”.

The 24 April 2015 is “Intellectual Property Day”. To mark the event, the Federal Association of German Industry (BDI), the German Association of Chambers of Trade and Industry (DIHK), the Trademark Association and the Action Group against Product and Trademark Piracy (APM) will organise an event entitled “Intellectual Property in the Digital Economy Era”. Here, current issues surrounding industrial property protection will be discussed and the question posed “is the legal framework of intellectual property suitable for the digital age?” In various panels, experts from the world of politics, industry and academia will discuss the challenges of digitalisation for patent, trademark and copyright law. The event on Intellectual Property Day will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m in the Haus der Deutschen Wirtschaft in Berlin.
