“Copyright law for Chambers for Trade and Industry” with Prof Jan B. Nordemann.

On 23 February 2011, a seminar will take place at the Chamber of Trade and Industry in Potsdam (IHK Potsdam) specially designed to meet the needs of chambers of trade and industry in relation to copyright law. It is aimed at staff at IHKs and is part of the series “Alles, was Recht is” (everything that’s right (lit. law)) organised by DIHK-Bildungs-GmbH. BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT partner Prof Dr Jan Bernd Nordemann will host the seminar together with solicitor Doris Möller, DIHK Berlin. The seminar will concentrate on practical issues of copyright law faced in the daily work undertaken by IHK staff. Examples of such are the law of quotations, ancillary copyright, contractual issues or limitations of copyright law (“what may be used without permission?”).
