ALAI Conference “Perspective on Enforcement of Right in the Internet” with speech by Dr M. Schaefer.

On 14 March 2016, ALAI Deutschland (Association Littéraire et Artistique Internationale) will hold a conference in Frankfurt am Main entitled “Perspective on Enforcement of Right in the Internet”, which is comprised of the parts “Liability of Access Providers” and “Follow the Money”. The conference will discuss the question whether and under what circumstances access providers and companies advertising on piracy sites can be sued. In the part “Liability of Access Providers”, BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT partner Dr. Martin Schaefer will speak on “The Legal Situation in Germany after goldesel.to”; Dr Romain Heidiger, University of Göttingen, will then present “The Legal Situation in Austria”. Professor Peukert and Professor Loewenheim will guide attendees through the event.
