She graduated from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in industrial chemistry. She then started her career in patent law in a Malaysian IP firm. She decided to continue her studies at the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC) in 2007 and obtained a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) in intellectual property from MIPLC in 2008. Following that, she acquired a Bachelor of Laws (Honors) degree (LL.B.) from King’s College London in 2012. After successfully passing the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC), she was called to the Bar of England and Wales by Lincoln’s Inn in July 2013. She then began her training as a European patent attorney at BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT in October 2013.She is registered as a patent agent in Malaysia since 2009, and is a member of Licensing Executives Society International (LESI).
