Philipp Heizmann studied chemistry at the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg and at Uppsala University in Sweden.
His studies focused on the development of efficient electrolysis processes from renewable sources, as well as research on fuel cells and their application in sustainable energy systems.
During his Ph.D., at the intersection of chemistry and microsystems technology, he developed a 3D electron microscopy technique for the nanoscale investigation of electrocatalytically active nanoparticles.
He then worked as a senior research associate at the Hahn-Schickard-Gesellschaft for Applied Research, before joining BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT in 2025.
