Katrin Seibt studied law at the Humboldt-Universität and Freie Universität Berlin. She was a research assistant at the Institute of German and European Business Law under Prof. Dr. F.-J. Säcker at Freie Universität Berlin. Here, she conducted research on the subject of competition law and the protection of industrial property rights. Her dissertation deals with the protection of three-dimensional trade marks in legal comparison.She has been admitted to the bar since 2003, and has been with BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT ever since.
