Motive Partners acquires LPA Group – BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT team advises

With Dr. Sebastian Engels, BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT is, together with the lead advisors of SKYE Partners (Frankfurt) part of the advisor team for Motive Partners, set to make its first investment in Germany with the acquisition of Lucht Probst Associates (LPA Group).

Established two years ago by private equity investors and financial experts, Motive Partners is represented with branches in New York and London. The focus of investment clearly rests on technology companies active in the financial sector. The acquisition of LPA Group, based in Frankfurt, fits exactly into this target group: As of 1999, it has developed software solutions for banks and asset managers and counts around 200 employees.

SKYE PARTNERS has been active as a corporate and transaction law firm since February 2018 and has specialized in company law, venture capital, private equity and M&A. Here, the firm uses web-based technology in order to form and coordinate customised teams for complex transactions. In this way, SKYE PARTNERS has a steadily growing network of currently 500 legal advisors at 17 locations in key jurisdictions in Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Middle East.
