Prof Jan Bernd Nordemann and Dr Julian Waiblinger as guests at the CSUSA in Los Angeles (CA) on 1 November 2018

The two BOEHMERT&BOEHMERT lawyers Prof. Dr. Jan Bernd Nordemann and Dr. Julian Waiblinger will appear as guest speakers of the Copyright Society of the USA (CSUSA) on 1 November 2018 in Los Angeles; the title of the speech will be “A Copyright Séance: Do United States Copyrights Have an Afterlife in Europe?“. The speech will focus on the question whether works no longer protected by copyright in the US will continue to enjoy protection in Europe and thus achieve an “afterlife”. Joel Gotler (William Morris Agency, New York), active in the film industry for over 30 years, will report from practice.
