He investigated graphene and semiconductor surfaces in ultra-high vacuum with electron and laser spectroscopy, in particular using nonlinear optics and short-pulse lasers.During a two-year stay at Columbia University, New York City, he extended his research to organic and organic-inorganic semiconductors for photovoltaics. Before joining BOEHMERT &amp; BOEHMERT in 2020, Daniel Niesner led two research projects on these topics and taught at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universit\u00e4t Erlangen-Nuernberg on optical properties of semiconductors.<\/p>\n<p>Daniel Niesner is a member of the German Physical Society.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><\/div><!--close column table wrapper.
