The PMAC is intended to offer confidential, efficient solutions for complex patent and SEP disputes, thus serving as a flexible alternative to traditional litigation.<\/p>\n<p>Effective January 1, 2026, BOEHMERT &amp; BOEHMERT partner and patent attorney <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boehmert.de\/en\/team\/heinz-goddar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Prof. Dr. Heinz Goddar<\/a> is officially listed as a neutral person of the PMAC for the positions of mediator, associate mediator, member of the arbitral tribunal, and sole and emergency arbitrator.<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Dr. Heinz Goddar has thus committed to making his expertise available to the PMAC for a period of five years as needed \u2013 for assignments, services, including information events, and training courses.<\/p>\n<p>Further information on the Patent Mediation and Arbitration Centre (PMAC) may be found in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boehmert.de\/en\/les-nouvelles-dezember-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">article co-authored by Prof. Dr. Goddar in Les Nouvelles, December 2025<\/a>, entitled \u201cPotential of the Patent Mediation and Arbitration Centre (PMAC) of the Unified Patent Court (UPC)\u201d.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From January 1, 2026, Prof. Dr. Heinz Goddar will act as a neutral person for the PMAC, serving as a mediator, a member of the arbitration tribunal and a sole and emergency arbitrator.
