Lennart-Knud Liefeith is specialized in the fields of physics, semiconductor technology and electronics. He studied classical physics with a focus on solid state physics and laser physics at the University of Hamburg. He wrote his master thesis during a one-year research stay at Hokkaido University in Japan. In 2016 he received his PhD in cooperation with Hokkaido University in the field of solid state and semiconductor physics in Hamburg. During his doctoral studies, he worked on the injection of spin-polarized currents into complex semiconductor heterostructures to develop devices for new storage possibilities and new computing operations. Lennart-Knud Liefeith is author of several publications in reviewed journals.
In 2017 he started his training as a German patent attorney and European patent attorney in a renowned IP law firm in Hamburg. Since 2020, Lennart-Knud Liefeith has been a German Patent Attorney and has worked for BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT in Frankfurt.
