Christian Meyer advises and represents German and foreign companies in German and cross-border trademark and patent infringement litigation proceedings, and on issues of unfair competition law. He also supports clients in regards to the drafting of licensing agreements.

Christian Meyer studied law at the Heinrich-Heine-University Duesseldorf. His focus was on economic law and intellectual property law. He earned his doctorate in the Department of Civil Law and Intellectual Property Law on a topic of competition law. During his training he gained extensive experience in the area of intellectual property law when completing internships in Germany and abroad. Further stages of his education were legal internships at the German Patent and Trade Mark Office and the Central Industrial Property Office (Zentralstelle Gewerblicher Rechtsschutz) in Munich. Since 2015, he is a Certified IP Lawyer.
Prior to joining BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT in 2013, he worked for the litigation and dispute resolution department of an international law firm in Duesseldorf.
Christian Meyer is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR), the Licensing Executive Society (LES), and the Munich Bar Association.
