Björn Bahlmann graduated from the faculty of law of Münster University including an additional two-year education in US law. His doctoral thesis dealt with legal issues of unsolicited commercial emails. Admitted to the bar in 2005, he started his career in the Munich office of international law firm Noerr LLP in the fields of trade marks, unfair competition, media, and IT law.
He regularly publishes articles on IP topics and is a permanent author for the Intellectual Property Magazine of F.A.Z Fachverlag Business Media Frankfurt.
Having joined BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT in 2009 with a focus on trade mark, unfair competition, and advertising law, as well as litigation, Björn Bahlmann qualified as a certified IP lawyer in 2011.
He is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), the Licensing Executives Society (LES), and the Association of European Trademark Owners (MARQUES).
