Andrew Whitmore studied computer science and economics at the Munich University of Applied Sciences, National Chiao Tung University of Taiwan, and the University of Augsburg. He received his Master of Science in 2019. During his studies he gained practical experience working in IT consulting, the semiconductor industry, and the financial industry. He completed his thesis at the research chair for Embedded Intelligence for Health Care and Wellbeing at the University of Augsburg. His thesis was based on an open challenge with respect to audio analysis, which covered the recognition of depression based on audio samples using artificial intelligence.
