Prof. Dr. J. B. Nordemann hosts the “2nd Congress Copyright Policy 2016” in Berlin at the Erich Pommer Institute
On 15 March 2016, the Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (MWE), the Senate Chancellery of Berlin and the Erich Pommer Institute (EPI) will host the “2nd Congress on Copyright Policy” in Berlin. The main theme will be “Current copyright policy in Germany and Europe – Leading figures from the world of politics, law and economics in dialogue”. Copyright experts from the world of politics, industry and academia will discuss current aspects of copyright law, including new development in European copyright (e.g. portability). In the field of national copyright, experts will focus on changes in copyright contract law, e.g. the right of recall, annual information and invoicing, appropriate compensation and common remuneration regulations as well as tariff agreements. The two legal directors of the EPI, BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT partner Prof Jan B. Nordemann and Prof Ulrich Michel will host the event together.
