Patent tutorial by Dr J. Valvoda in “Image Processing for Medicine” workshop.

The German Cancer Research Centre will hold a workshop entitled “Image Processing for Medicine” in Heidelberg between 3 and 5 March 2013. Medical image processing is a key technology in modern image-supported diagnostics and surgical aids. Patent lawyer Dr Jakob Valvoda from BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT will give a tutorial on “the patenting of inventions in IT and medical image processing” over the course of this event on 3 March 2013. The tutorial will provide an introduction to the patenting of inventions and focuses in particular on computer-implemented inventions (software) in the field of medical image processing.
