Patent tutorial by Dr J. Valvoda in “Image Processing for Medicine” workshop.

Between 16 to 18 March 2014, the Institute for Medical Information Technology at the University Clinic RWTH Aachen will host a workshop entitled “Image Processing for Medicine”. Medical Image Processing is a key technology in modern image-supported diagnostics and surgical aids. Patent lawyer Dr Jakob Valvoda from BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT will give a tutorial on “protecting inventions in IT and medical image processing” over the course of this event on 16 March 2014. The tutorial will provide an introduction to the patenting of inventions and focuses in particular on computer-implemented inventions (software) in the field of medical image processing.
