“Patent on Life Sciences” conference in Berlin with BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT partners.

On 28 November 2012 at the Humboldt University in Berlin, the first “Patent on Life Sciences” conference will take place under the motto “A Search for Best Practices”. It will be organised jointly by the Josef Kohler Institute, the US Federal Circuit Bar Association and the industrial association BIO Germany. Various panels will discuss biotechnological developments from all areas (“red, green and white biotechnology”). Best Practice examples from various biotechnology companies, both large and small, will be discussed. The “Best Practices: Does the Patent System Incentivize Innovation?” will be moderated by BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT partner Prof H. Goddar.
