BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT partner Dr.Martin Schaefer has made a contribution to the specialist magazine musikmarkt (11/2015) entitled “Reduced Sight in One Eye?”. In the article, he comments on the new bill on copyright contract law put forward in October. Dr Schaefer shows to what extent the bill excludes the interests of publishing houses and producers and notes here: “If the bill is to become law, it is already clear that it would weaken domestic producers and publishing houses – in favour of largely foreign service and platform operators.”
