BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT partner Dr Martin Schaefer has submitted an article to the specialist magazine “Kommunikation & Recht” (12/2015, S. 761 ff) entitled “The new Collection Company Act – a guide to the bill”. The background is the bill put forward by the Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection on the implementation of the EU Directive 2014/26/EU on the collective management of copyright and related rights. In his article, Dr Schaefer explains the background to the proposals and makes an initial assessment of the bill.
