GRUR lecture by Prof J.B.Nordemann “Increased Control of General Terms and Conditions for Licence Agreements”.

On 23 May 2012, the Bavaria Area Group of the German Association of Industrial Property Rights and Copyright (GRUR) invites participants to a lecture on “Copyright: Increased Control of General Terms and Conditions”, given by BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT partner Prof Jan Bernd Nordemann. Control of such contracts, which are usually pre-formulated, has long managed to avoid the focus of the courts. This has now changed. Certain clauses will no longer stand up to judicial control. Prof Nordemann will demonstrate what type of clause must be adjusted in form agreements. The lecture will be held in the DPMAforum of the German Patent and Trademark Office and begins at 17:30.
