The Association of German Local Newspapers (VDL) will hold the “Zeitung 21” event within the framework of the 37th Congress of the Media-Political Forum on 28 and 29 June 2011 in Berlin. From the 22nd to 25th of June 2011 the Federal Circuit Bar Association (FCBA) will hold its 13th Annual Bench & Bar Conference in Key Biscayne, Florida. The Licensing Executives Society International (LESI) will be holding its Annual Conference in London from the 3rd to the 8th of June. This year’s conference title is “Licensing in the 21st Century – better, faster, smarter”. On the 6th of June, at this internationally attended and visited conference, BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT partner Prof. Dr. Heinz Goddar will give two presentations at the “Compulsory Licensing” and “LESI worldwide survey on dispute resolution needs in international patent licensing” workshops.
The Forum Institute will hold the two-day seminar course “Licensing Law” (course language English) in Hamburg on the 30th and 31st of May. On 23 and 24 May 2011, the Institute of European Studies of Macao (IEEM) will hold the 12th Annual IEEM IP Seminar in Macao. The topic at this year’s event is: “Consumers, Facilitators and Intermediaries – IP Infringers or Innocent Bystanders?“. Through the course of the two-day event, international legal experts will look at current case law in the countries they represent.
