Outcome from the "2nd Congress Copyright Policy 2016" in Berlin at the Erich Pommer Institute

On 15 March 2016, the Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (MWE), the Senate Chancellery of Berlin and the Erich Pommer Institute (EPI) held the "2nd Congress on Copyright Policy" in Berlin. The main theme was "Current copyright policy in Germany and Europe - Leading figures from the world of politics, law and economics in dialogue". Copyright experts from the world of politics, industry and academia discussed current developments in copyright law. In particular, lobby groups from the creative industries put forward their concerns and demands in view of the forthcoming amendments to copyright contract law in Germany. The two legal directors of the EPI, BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT partner Prof. Dr. Jan B. Nordemann and Prof Ulrich Michel hosted the event together.
