BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT partner Prof Jan B. Nordemann in the "Anwaltsblatt Karriere".

In its "Employment Report" section in an article entitled "Bring us something back! Cartel law, sports law and insurance law - Incentive and challenge of complex mandates", the legal magazine "Anwaltsblatt Karriere" (1/2016 p. 23 et seq) looks at the demands made by large firms on young lawyers. Law firms target suitable applicants, the magazine explains in the introduction. In the article, BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT partner Prof. Dr. Jan Bernd Nordemann gives young lawyers the following advice: "Since cartel law is a very specialised area of law, those starting out in their career should pay attention to ensure they get an overview of the entire field from the very beginning." It's also important to have knowledge and understanding of the business and technical aspects of this area of law as well as expertise in the field of intellectual property as its at the interplay between these two disciplines that cartel law gets especially exciting, he added.
The "Anwaltsblatt Karriere" is published by the German Lawyers Association, appears twice per year and provides comprehensive coverage on the legal profession. The current edition can be accessed online free of charge.
