Dr Czychowski speaks at the Pre Durban Conference of the BDI.

The Federal Association of German Industry (BDI) will hold a Pre-Durban Conference in Berlin on 18 October 2011. The event will discuss the role of the economy in the UN technology mechanism and climate finance. The background to the Pre-Durban event is the next Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 17) set to take place in around three months in Durban, South Africa. With the event, the BDI intends to address the two core subjects of the international negotiation process: technology and financial cooperation. BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT partner Dr Christian Czychowski will also participate at the Pre-Durban conference as a panellist. He will explain IP rights which will become an increasingly important issue in the technology of climate protection.
