Together with the consultancy Accuracy Deutschland and the Best Excellence Initiative Rhein-Main of the F.A.Z Institute, the Frankfurt office of BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT will hold a seminar on the “Arrangement of R&D Collaboration Agreements” on 21 February 2013. It provides insight into the arrangement of such collaboration agreements between companies and universities as well as with publicly subsidised projects. It also explains the monetary valuation and protection of access to contributed and jointly created intangible assets. An article by BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT partners Prof. Dr. Heinz Goddar and Dr. Carl-Richard Haarmann has been published in issue 1-2/2013 of the widely acclaimed Chinese trade journal “China Intellectual Property Magazine”. The subject of his speech will be: “Recent developments on the term copyright-protected work and its consequences in the field of Applied Art.” The speech will focus on current case law from the ECJ and the German Federal Supreme Court on the term as defined in § 2 UrhG.
