Together with the consultancy Accuracy Deutschland and the Best Excellence Initiative Rhein-Main of the F.A.Z Institute, the Frankfurt office of BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT will hold a seminar on the “Arrangement of R&D Collaboration Agreements” on 21 February 2013. It provides insight into the arrangement of such collaboration agreements between companies and universities as well as with publicly subsidised projects. It also explains the monetary valuation and protection of access to contributed and jointly created intangible assets. BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT partners and patent lawyers Dr Klaus Dieter Langfinger and Dr Karl-Heinz Metten and Stefan Herrmann and Dr Ekaterina Lohwasser from the consultancy Accurancy Deutschland will give speeches on the issue.

Media.connect brandenburg, BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT as well as the Representation of the State of Brandenburg at the Federal Government are hosting the second producers’ brunch on the 11th of February on the occasion of the 63rd Berlinale. This year the topic is “Reach wins: Digital distribution – a long road to the consumer”. BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT partner Olaf Wolters will discuss the various aspects of the topic with Dr. Olaf Coenen, managing director of Electronic Arts; Helga Trüpel, Member of the European Parliament for Alliance 90’/The Greens and deputy chairperson of the Committee on Culture of the European Parliament; and Christian Sommer, chief representative of the Motion Picture Association (MPA). The event begins at 10 a.m. and takes place in the Great Hall (Kurfürstensaal) in the Representation of the State of Brandenburg at the Federal Government in Berlin.
