International “IP Symposium” in Istanbul – with contributions from BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT lawyers.

The “Symposium on International Practices in Protection and Registration of Trademarks” will take place in Istanbul on 7 and 8 December 2012. The event is organised by the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce and the Istanbul Commerce University. BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT certified commercial property lawyers Peter Gross LL.M., and Dr Björn Bahlmann will give a lecture entitled “Hints for Successful Trademark Protection in Germany” on the second day of the symposium. Internationally recognised IP experts will present and discuss various systems for IP protection (e.g. Madrid system, Japan and US).

“Licensing Law” – Specialist seminar with Prof Heinz Goddar.

BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT partner Prof Heinz Goddar will hold a two-day seminar on licensing law on 6 and 7 December 2012 in Munich. The seminar will be held in English. Together with a colleague, Dr Bertram Huber (IPSEVA), he will explain various facets of licensing law; the individual phases in the licensing procedure and will illustrate everything with a range of case examples. The seminar is arranged by the Forum-Institute for Management.
