As part of the annual seminar held by the German group of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT partner Prof. Jan Bernd Nordemann will give insights into “The interplay between design and copyright protection for industrial products” on 27th April 2012 in Düsseldorf. This topic cluster is part of “Q231” of the working questions which the German group is processing for the AIPPI World Congress in Seoul (20th – 24th October 2012). Jan Nordemann is a member of the German group’s executive committee. On the international level, he is a member of the Programme Committee, as well as Chairman of the “Copyright” Special Committee. The Los Angeles Copyright Society (LACS) dedicates its April meeting to “European Copyright Law – System, Directives, Cases”. The meeting will not only discuss the structure of European copyright law, but also explain recent amendments to EU directives.
